Mosaic People was founded by Laura Colton in 2016. Based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, Mosaic People serves clients across East Anglia and the East Midlands.
Laura’s aim is to work with business leaders/owners and their teams, supporting them to create and develop workplaces that deliver outstanding performance for businesses and their people. Whether through developing recruitment or engagement strategies, coaching line managers or HR teams, helping businesses scale up (or down) or just helping solve a people puzzle, we approach each project with pragmatism, practicality and an open mind and ears - and take pride in always making sure the ‘human’ in human resources is at the heart of how Mosaic People operates.
Before setting up Mosaic People, Laura’s career spanned over 18 years working in large corporate businesses, small and medium sized entrepreneurial companies and the third sector. The range of industries in which she has honed her skills is equally diverse, including manufacturing, logistics/distribution, recruitment, financial services, transport, social housing and a major national charity. Over this time, Laura has handled most people management situations and if she hasn’t, then it is likely she has an Associate within Mosaic People who has!
Laura holds a Postgraduate (Level 7) Diploma in HR Management and Chartered Membership of the CIPD. Additionally, she is an ILM accredited Business Coach and holds Registered Corporate Coach™ (RCC™) status with the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC).
